Pilgrim’s partners have been generating returns from capital market activities since 1995, and seeing the need for an independent and privately owned investment manager and adviser, set up the company in 2004.

Roman Golnikov, a founding partner of Pilgrim Asset Management Ltd., holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from IAACC (International Academic Accreditation and Certification Committee), and is also a Doctor of Psychology. He has worked in Russian financial markets since 1994 and has vast experience on the investment side, as well as in-depth knowledge of overall market development.
Alexander Ivanov, a managing director of Pilgrim Asset Management Ltd., has worked in Russian financial markets since 1994. He holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University and a Master's Degree in Finance and Investment from Exeter University, England. He has extensive experience in finance and investment management.
